Ashley Park Pre K-8 School is situated on Camp Greene, a historically significant army base during World War I. In this art project, two preschool students collaborated to represent their school. While one student expressed a love for playing the trumpet, the other contributed drawings. Morse code was employed to communicate a message. “We are Ashley Park Preschool” in the absence of written words.

By incorporating a World War I theme, the project paid tribute to Camp Greene’s role as a military camp and its impact on the surrounding area. The resulting artwork beautifully captured the essence of Ashley Park Pre School while honoring the

historical context of its location on Camp Greene.
